Today’s Scrip-Bit 7 June 2007 Micah 7:6, Matthew 10:36

Micah 7: 6.

For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.

Matthew 10: 36.

And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

How sad eh…Micah said it hundreds of years before J.C, and two thousand years after Jesus reiterated it. Sadly, it’s still true today. The ones who hurt us the most are the ones closest to us. Why is that eh? You would expect it to be the other way around, but unfortunately in a lot of cases it’s the stranger who extends a helping hand to us, while our family breaks us down. Can we do something to change that, so two thousand years from now it would no longer be true?
