Today’s Scrip-Bit 8 July 2007 Psalm 62: 7-8

Psalm 62: 7-8

In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge is in God.

Trust Him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah!

This is one of those Bits that just jumped out at me when I opened The Good Book today, so I knew immediately that it was His hand at work in the devious manner which he seems to favour. Anyway, I guess today he wants to reinforce that He is not only a refuge for us, but The One & Only HOPE we have. And rightfully so, for who else, as David said, can be our Salvation and Glory, the Rock of our Strength and our Safe and Secure Hiding Place? None but The Most High. Consequently, we can trust Him and take all our pain and troubles to him, for in times of need, he shall lovingly comfort and heal us. Selah!
