1 Chronicles 22: 13. Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgements which the Lord charged Moses with, concerning Israel: be strong and of good courage, dread not nor be dismayed.
It’s so simple. The Most High spelt it out in no uncertain terms: Don’t be afraid, if you follow My rules and have a little courage, you’ll prosper. And it’s only two easy rules; LOVE your GOD, and LOVE your neighbour the way you want him to LOVE you. That covers the entire ten commandments. Why then do we find it so difficult to follow eh? Possibly because we tend to value things according to their level of difficulty: the more difficult the more valuable. The negativity in our lives today is unbelievable, and most of it could be solved by following the second rule; treat your neighbour the way you want him to treat you. Why do we find it easier to hate than to LOVE, when so many good things flow from LOVE, and only negativity and destruction from hate? Friends, we’ve got to change that, starting on a personal level. When we harbour negative things like anger, greed and jealousy, it only festers in our soul, and like acid in a plastic bottle, eats away the container. Let’s stop doing that and be of good courage, stand strong, LOVE our GOD, and our neighbour as ourselves. There is nothing that puts a smile on HIS face as when HIS children LOVE HIM and each other. So please, please, let’s make HIM smile a real big smile today. Oodles and oodles of LOVE!
