2 Thessalonians 1:3-4 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all, toward each other, aboundeth; So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God, for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure.
Oh Friends, I am no Paul, not by a long shot, but it sure would be gratifying to earn the right to say those words. Obviously, I thank God for all of you who read the Bit: for those who read it reluctantly; yuh know, just because it’s there; as well as for you faithful few, who can’t wait to get up in the mornings and rush to your computers to see what words of wisdom I’ve dispensed for that day. Of course I’m laughing as I write this, but I do hope that at some time, something in some Bit, does reach out and talk to each one of you: That in some small way, it gives you some kind of encouragement, brings a chuckle to your soul or a smile to your sad face, brightens your day, shines a ray of light on your darkened path, but somehow helps you to bear whatever heavy load you’re carrying. That’s why the Most High lead me, or rather pushed me to do this. And He would be exceedingly pleased, if my few words, hn! helps to keep your faith strong, and even better, if it helped it to grow. Wow! But this passage touched me most today; ‘and the charity of every one of you all toward each other, aboundeth;’ Yes People, it would be so wonderful to truthfully say that we are increasing in LOVE for, and fellowship with our neighbours. Nothing warms the cockles of God’s heart and brings a beautiful smile to His face like when His children live in true harmony. Friends, it’s something we should all strive for. Sometimes I think I’m mentally challenged (now don’t all say yeah!) but I simply can’t understand how people can not only live, but thrive in continuous strife and confusion, when it’s so much easier and sweeter to live in LOVE. Sorry, but I will stay mentally challenged. That’s why crazy people are considered happy; they laugh a lot and we, supposedly sane ones, don’t. Anyway, enough rambling. At least I’m like Bruh Paul in that respect; love to ramble. But seriously though, it would be great if at the end of our journey, we all felt fulfilled and fairly satisfied with our efforts to enhance and advance God’s Church, having endured with much patience and strong faith, the necessary trials and tribulations. And Friends, we can certainly do it, if we’ll only curtail our selfish desires and work together with each other… and with God. Much LOVE!…remember…it takes two hands…to clap…the same with success…
