2 Peter 3:9.    The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness: but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Oh Friends, it’s Tuesday November 6 2012! At last that fateful day has arrived; Presidential Election Day in the U.S of A! Ah mih people, whatever the result, it will go down as a most memorable day in the annals of history, cause this election will set America, once more on the path to glory, or it will continue on the ruinous path that it has been pursuing for the past two decades. No matter which side wins, and both sides claim to have God as their guide, America will see substantial changes. And the destruction recently unleashed by Hurricane Sandy on its most populous area, only deepens the confusion, and thus the ramifications per the election. My Scrip-Bit Friends, I urge us to pray that this election turns out to be in the best interest of the U.S. since unfortunately, as the U.S. goes, so goes the rest of the world to a great extent. Remember too Friends, that this is a time of prayer, for our world is in such disastrous shape that it’s only true, heartfelt prayer that can help us to climb out of the morass in which we’re currently mired. So let’s pray sincerely for our world and encourage as many others as possible to do the same. This is where the fomenting of our LOVE Revolution is so important my brethren. And to our U.S Friends in particular, please, I implore you; first to go out today and vote, but then before you actually cast that ballot, sincerely ask the Lord to guide you, to give you the wisdom and understanding you need to make the right decision in your voting. Remember, as James says, the Lord gives wisdom to ALL who ask in faith, without wavering. (James 1:5-8) Now let’s turn to our Bit. ‘The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness: but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.’ And all I’m going to do today my people is feed us with some scriptures relating to the different parts of our Bit, which I’ve been planning to do since day one, but have been guided to other stuff. Now, re the promises of God and salvation being nigh, listen to Bruh Paul’s entreaty to the Roman church, as he advises them to walk in LOVE. ‘LOVE worketh no ill (does no harm) to his neighbour: therefore LOVE is the fulfilling of the law. And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we (first) believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.’ (Rom.13:10-12) Yes my brethren, everyday brings us one day closer to salvation and to the judgement of the world, so we need to be both watchful and diligent in doing God’s work. Now hear the scholar’s explain some of that scripture. ‘Sleep means insensitivity to the demands of Christ on the Christian’s life. Now is our salvation nearer: The coming of Christ to deliver us from this sinful world grows nearer every day. The night is the time while Christ is out of the world, and the world has been delivered into the control of the prince of the power of the air (Eph.2:2). The day is a reference to the time when Christ will return and establish His reign of righteousness.’ And turning to long-suffering, hear Bruh David tell it like it is from Psalm 86, Teach me thy way O Lord. ‘O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies (mobs) of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them. But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, long-suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.’ (Ps.86:14-15) Oh my brethren, no true believer can have any argument with those statements, for they are indeed living truth! Now listen to Isaiah on the subject. ‘And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgement (justice): blessed are all they that wait for him.’ (Is.30:18) There again Friends, that’s truth in its entirety! And I just saw this note from the scholars, which seems useful. ‘Because God is gracious and has been willing to wait for His people to return to Him, He will certainly bless those who wait for him. “Waiting” is a confident and dependent trust in God.’ And all God’s people declared a rousing ‘Hallelujah!’ And as regards His children perishing, hear Ezekiel on the matter. ‘Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?’ (Ezek.33:11) Yes my people, our God wants nobody to perish, that’s why He’s being so patient and long-suffering with us. But remember that all patience runs out at some time or other, and since we don’t know when the Lord’s will run out, we need to get ourselves together RIGHT NOW, and live in righteousness, so that whenever the TIME comes, we’ll be prepared. Now hear Bruh Paul to the Romans, re repentance, where he talks about judging others is to condemn ourselves. ‘And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgement of God? Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and long-suffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?’ (Rom.2:3-4) That’s oh so true my people! And we’ll let Jesus have the final say, since he’s the authority on the subject. This scripture is brought up when the mother of the disciples James and John asks Jesus to elevate her boys, to let one sit on either side of Him in His kingdom. (Matt.20:20-22) Obviously Jesus could not grant that request because it was not in His power to do so. Then He ends with these memorable words. ‘And whosoever will be chief (first) among you, let him be your servant (slave): Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto (served), but to minister (serve), and to give his life a ransom for many.’ (Matt.20:27-28) Please my fellow believers in Jesus, let’s take those words to heart nuh, and then put them into action, for that’s basically Jesus’ motto right there, and only as we follow it, will His church here on earth be successful. Much LOVE!…to serve…and not to be served…should be the modus operandi of ALL CHRISTIANS…

1 John 4:16.     And we have known and believed the LOVE that God hath to us. God is LOVE; and he that dwelleth in LOVE, dwelleth in God, and God in him.
 
Oh Friends, another beautiful summer’s day is in the offing, and I didn’t see any of our names in the obits! Wow! That must mean we’ve found favour with our Creator and thus blessed with another awesome day on planet earth! And all God’s people shouted a grateful and heartfelt; ‘Glory Hallelujah! Thank You Father for another day of life, and the many other blessings You have prepared for us! We LOVE You and praise Your Holy Name!’ Ah Friends, you wouldn’t believe the ruckus that short but sincere prayer caused in heaven. (smile) Now that we have gratefully acknowledged our Creator and given thanks for our wonderful lives, the angels are busy getting ready to shower down upon us all the mercy and forgiveness that was planned to bless us with today. Mama Mia! And what’s the ONE word that encompasses all that? And all God’s children joyfully shout it out: ‘LOVE!’ Yes Friends, all that God’s ever done, is currently doing and has promised to do in the future stems from that magical, mysterious, miraculous, mystifying word, LOVE. Can you believe that those four lowly letters put together, can make such a powerful word, a word so omnipotent, that it makes the world go round? LOVE,properly spoken and practiced can overcome the greatest hate, anger and resentment. But strangely enough, it doesn’t work the other way. For hate, anger and resentment can NEVER CONQUER TRUE LOVE! And that’s the gospel truth Friends! I dare any of you to show me anywhere that TRUE LOVE ever existed, and then the negative emotions conquered it. If it ever happened, then TRUE LOVE NEVER existed there in the first place, cause if it did, it would surely have been victorious. That’s because, as our Bit so rightly declares, LOVE IS OF GOD! ‘And we have known and believed the LOVE that God hath to us. God is LOVE; and he that dwelleth (abides) in LOVE, dwelleth in God, and God in him.’ That’s an indisputable fact Friends! TRUE LOVE is so strong my brethren, that Bruh Paul raved thus about it. ‘Who shall separate us from the LOVE of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors, through him that LOVED us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the LOVE of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.’ (Rom.8:35-39) Oh my brethren, what a powerful speech, one filled with gospel truth, on the strongest tie in God’s great universe – LOVE! And though nothing can separate us from God’s LOVE, there seems to be a problem with our LOVE,betwixt and between each other. We all know, if we’re truthful to ourselves, that the spirit of LOVE, togetherness and selflessness is nowhere near as prevalent and forthcoming as it should be either in Christ’s Church, or in the world at large. So how can we truly claim to be believers if we don’t have the spirit of oneness with each other, as part of Christ’s body? And if we don’t have that feeling of selflessness towards and care for others, how then can we truly LOVE our God, SPREAD His Word and LIVE our Faith as we’re supposed to do eh? It’s a very serious problem in Christ’s body, my people. That’s why so many unbelievers blatantly disregard and mock us, and call us hypocrites of the highest order. And oftimes they are right, because oftimes what we say and what we do, don’t coincide with each other or with God’s Word. Oh Friends, I’m tired saying it, but I guess I’ll have to continue saying it until it’s no longer true, or the breath of life goes out in me, which ever comes first, (smile) but the only way we’re going to improve relationships in this turbulent world of ours is by LOVE; talking LOVE, and even more importantly showing and practicing LOVE! Oh my brethren, the LOVE REVOLUTION which we believers are currently spearheading desperately needs to pick up steam, and quickly too, as it seems that Jesus’ second coming is imminent, and whoever is not aboard the LOVE TRAIN bound for glory, will be lost forever! Now the Father’s LOVE is so strong for His human creations, that He doesn’t even want to lose one single soul to Lucifer. And by the way, eternal separation from the Father, meaning eternity with Lucifer, is the worst thing that can ever happen to a human being! So please Friends, let’s get moving nuh, let’s get up off our comfortable derrières and seriously and sincerely begin preaching and practicing LOVE! As John so patiently and genuinely implores: ‘My little children, let us not LOVE in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.’ (1 John 3:18) Friends, let’s meditate on that scripture today and see how we can improve our LOVE WALK. Notice how God gave us two of almost all our appendages, that’s so we could help each other; the heart of Jesus’ teaching; the essence of LOVE! Much LOVE my brethren!…and now abideth, Faith, Hope, LOVE…these three…but the greatest of these is…LOVE…  (1 Cor.13:13)  ABSOLUTELY!

Proverbs 16:3.    Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.
 
And the beat goes on; hot, muggy and dry! Yes Friends, that’s how the summer of 2012 is shaping up to be. And it’s playing havoc with the crops, starting to drive up food prices. The weather system in our world has certainly gone awry, with more abnormal happenings every day. Why is that eh? Could it be that our constant polluting of the atmosphere has finally reached a stage where all the chemical garbage we spew into it is beginning to take effect, with significant abnormalities, now becoming the norm? No doubt about it! Global warming and our unwise environmental actions do play a part in the vagaries of today’s weather patterns. How much of a part our foolish actions play, I don’t know, because there’s also another side to the equation; the divine hand of God. God’s hand is undoubtedly involved in the many abnormal natural disasters we’ve been facing all over the globe for the last few years. But are we heeding any of these warnings? Sadly not. It’s amazing how people will agree that the weather systems are indeed changing, having recently become more volatile and unexpected, but fail to agree on why, and what to do about them. Friends, I humbly submit that the first two things we need to do to bring about some positive change is to stop putting so much poisonous stuff in the atmosphere, and then return to a God-centred lifestyle. Or as our Bit so wisely states: ‘Commit (roll off) thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.’ Isn’t that how the Israelites were first established? Isn’t that how many of the world’s great nations, including the now backsliding U.S.A. were founded; on the worthy principles of Almighty God? So why have we turned away from God eh, more intent on removing Him completely from our society, than at any time in history? How did Lucifer and his evil cohorts become so powerful, while God is becoming a lesser presence every day? Unfortunately my people, I have no answers for those serious questions, but the reality of God slowly drifting out of our society, in favour of Lucifer’s fleshly and worldly norms is a sad and agonizing fact. The important thing though my brethren, is that we believers in and followers of Jesus, are the ones who have to stand up and be counted, be the main force in turning this ungodly, unpalatable situation around. Just think about the foul, inhospitable, erratic world our grandchildren will inhabit if we continue down this foolish, evil, ungodly path we seem so intent on travelling. We need to start thinking with our hearts and not our heads. That’s called LOVE, Friends! And the first action we need to take to enable us to put serious LOVE into play, is recommitting ourselves and our works to the Most High God, as our Bit advises. Bruh David says it loud and clear in Psalm 55, a cry against deceitful friends. ‘Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee; he shall never suffer (permit) the righteous to be moved (shaken).’ (Ps.55:22) That’s truth at its finest my people! And Jesus, when talking about one master, made it absolutely clear that His heavenly Father should be that one: ‘Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for (do not worry about) your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not life more than meat (food), and the body than raiment (clothing)?…But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow (do not worry about tomorrow): for the morrow shall take thought for the things of it self. Sufficient unto the day is the evil (trouble) thereof.’ (Matt.6:25, 33-34) Ah mih breddren, why is that so difficult for us to accept eh, when there are so many historical precedents, beginning with Abraham’s journey from his homeland, to Israel’s escape from bondage in Egypt, to the founding of the U.S by the Pilgrim Fathers, it’s dramatic rise to power and prominence, and now it’s catastrophic fall from grace, because God is no longer the uppermost factor in its hallowed halls, schools and homes. What did Cousin Sol say about that situation? ‘Where there is no (prophetic) vision (or revelation), the people perish (cast off restraint): but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.’  (Prov.29:18)  And that’s the living truth Friends, as is being borne out by the devastating calamities being suffered by a world that’s irrationally and bombastically turned away from the ONE and ONLY TRUE God. Oh my people, I’m just a lowly scribe, but it doesn’t take a genius to figure out where we’ve gone wrong, and unfortunately are continuing to go wrong. Now here’s Peter’s prescription for a successful transformation: ‘Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. Casting all your care upon him, for he careth for you.’ (1 Pet.5:6-7) Oh Friends, truer words were never spoken! But the long and short of the story is that where the divine laws of the Living God are not subscribed and conformed to by the majority of  of its citizens, that society will soon decline and decay from lack of divine guidance and blessings, as well as the imposition of divine punishment. History has proven that many times over! So I don’t know what else to say to get us to smarten up and get faithfully and diligently driving that great engine of LOVE in the LOVE Revolution, for it’s only through that great and wonderful emotion of God that we stand a chance. Much LOVE!…he who has ears to hear…let him hear…for the warning is loud and clear…
 

Today’s Scrip-Bit 31 March 2012 Ecclesiastes 3:8‏

Ecclesiastes 3:8,      A time to LOVE, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Aye Friends, there’s a question I’ve been meaning to ask you all for some time, but I’ve never gotten around to it until now. If I’ve been amiss in my duty, please forgive me, because it’s a rather important question; possibly the most important question that each of us can ask ourselves right now. But then again, it might have simply been penciled in all along for today on the Lord’s calendar, so I’m right on time. (smile) However, before we get to the million-dollar question, let’s take a look at our Bit: ‘A time to LOVE, and a time of hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.’ We all know that comes from the famous chapter of Ecclesiastes on there being a time for every thing. And that’s the living truth Friends! And what time is this? The time for LOVE and PEACE! Oh my people the time for hate and war are over, long gone. It’s a new era now; one where peace and LOVE abound. That’s why this question is so important. And without further ado, here it is: Have you enlisted yet as a soldier in the LOVE Revolution of Jesus? Now the answer to that should ‘utopianly’ be a loud, unified, unanimous acclamation of YEAHHHHHHH!!! But unfortunately it’s not – far from it too. That’s why Jesus is now looking for soldiers, and in particular foot soldiers like Him, not those who want to sit in fancy offices in pretty uniforms with plenty medals covering their chests and give lots of orders, but soldiers who are ready and willing to go out into the field and make a difference by spreading LOVE! Oh Friends, how wonderful a job – no it’s not a job, neither a duty, but more…more of a calling, an enlightenment. So how wonderful that calling can be is something you’ll never truly comprehend from the outside looking in. You have to make a serious, conscious commitment to Jesus, to become involved in His LOVE Revolution before you can reap the benefits that are spread throughout the hard times. And believe you me, there will be hard times, I can testify to that from personal experience. But unless you get personally involved, neither will you ever know the refreshing, peaceful, exotic feeling you get when you suffer through those hard times without too much complaining, simply trusting in Jesus to fulfill the promises to see you through the difficult times, to never leave nor forsake you. Remember what Jesus said about simply working for Him. ‘And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.’ (Matt.10:22) But He also said ‘These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.’ (John 16:33) Therefore people, in the midst of all the hate and war, anger and resentment that are currently plaguing our world, Jesus has given us the power to have peace and good cheer as well as the ability to LOVE those around us. Hn! I can’t get over it nuh. What a wonderful Lord and Saviour we have mih bredden! One who hides nothing from us, tells it like it is, and keeps all His promises too! Wow! There’s NONE else like Him in the world! So Friends, why don’t we appreciate Him much more than we do eh? It grieves Him. I know that for a fact, because He wants ALL His family to come home to Him. He doesn’t want to lose even a single one to Beelzebub. And that’s what His LOVE Revolution is all about; bringing all His Father’s children home, to live in salvation and everlasting peace. So won’t you join the fight today? Open your heart. Jesus is calling, inviting you to come to Him, right this moment. And if you can’t come, or won’t come, He will gladly and willingly come to you, for He’s not too proud to do so. All you have to do is ask, and He’ll be there instantly. So as the old people would say; put your money where your mouth is nuh! Join up and let’s shower the world with LOVE in a LOVE Revolution led by none other than Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who gave His holy, innocent and sinless life so that we undeserving sinners could be saved. Oh Friends, too many people either have not had the opportunity to hear the good news of the gospel, or they are fighting it tooth and nail. But LOVE is what makes the world go round and round, up and down. However, before people can accept it, we have to put the concept of LOVE out there for them, first in words and then most importantly IN ACTION! And we’ll end with some stirring words of Jesus that explains the whole concept: ‘A new commandment I give unto you, That ye LOVE one another; as I have LOVED you, that ye also LOVE one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have LOVE one to another.’ (John 13:34-35) Oh Friends, that’s so plain and simple, self-explanatory really, like most of Jesus’ sayings. How can we not take them to heart and join His earth-shaking LOVE Revolution, which aims to revolutionize this angry, hateful, bitter world with the most wonderful emotion in existence, LOVE! Please join us today. The rewards – salvation and eternal life – are incomparable, and cannot be gotten anywhere else but under the LOVING embrace of Jesus! So before it’s too late, and there will come a time when it is, I implore us to wise up and try Jesus – RIGHT NOW! Much LOVE my brethren!…only insomuch as one LOVES…can one understand the true meaning of life…

 

Today’s Scrip-Bit 6 March 2012 Matthew 22:37,39‏

Matthew 22:37,39.    Thou shalt LOVE the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind…Thou shalt LOVE thy neighbour as thyself.
 
Aye mih people, a fine Tuesday morning to you and yours! Now we all know that our God moves in mysterious ways, so listen to this mysterious way He worked in me yesterday morning. Just before midday, He sent me this zeppo, this little message, by the Holy Spirit, and the strange thing is that when I sat down and really considered it, what He says makes oodles of sense. And it’s not rocket science either, but plain simple logic and common sense. Well enough suspense, (smile) the theory is…Oh sorry, this is no theory, these are hard, solid facts! Well then, the facts run something like this: Our world is presently in pretty bad shape, and if we don’t do something about it real soon, it’s liable to implode and/or explode. The forces of iniquity are winning the battle right now, but we believers in Jesus know that the powers of darkness are no match whatsoever for the brilliance of our wonderful Lord and Saviour. The iniquity workers, led by that old scoundrel Lucifer, are purveyors of hate, anger, confusion and strife. However, we Christians, led by Jesus Christ, are the purveyors of Peace, LOVE, and Human Kindness. And one thing for sure in this ongoing battle is that the powers of darkness definitely can’t overpower the forces of light. We, the soldiers of Jesus, work with the most awesome weapon ever invented…no, not invented, for you can’t invent LOVE. We, the followers of Jesus, work with LOVE, the greatest weapon ever created! Yes, that sounds better. And it is only a matter of time before the good guys, that’s us believers, come out victorious, because our omnipotent God has imperiously declared that: ‘No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgement thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of (from) me, saith the Lord.’ (Is.54:17) He’s also incontestably declared that: ‘Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that LOVED us.’ (Rom.8:37) However Friends, though those promises are wonderful and will be kept, our victories won’t happen by chance, or by just sitting down and wishing them to happen by faith. No! Just like the iniquity soldiers, who work hard to promote and justify their cause, likewise, we, the children of the Most High God Jehovah, have to go out into the fields of evil and sow some good seed, in and with faith. We have to out work and out battle Lucifer’s boys, and right now I believe that they are outworking and out battling us. And that’s not a very good situation for our world my brethren. So since we have the biggest and most powerful bazooka in town, LOVE, let’s get out there and use it nuh mih people. The poor, the sick, the suffering, lonely, lost and oppressed are plentiful out there, yuh know. And they’re waiting to be delivered by us, the helpers of Jesus. Unfortunately we can’t do that by sitting on our comfortable rear ends. It’s certainly going to take a lot of effort and sacrifice, patience, strong faith and fortitude from all God’s soldiers to pull of this LOVE Revolution that He’s planned to save our fast deteriorating world. Oh my Friends, that is the only solution available to us who believe! It’s the only plan that will return our world to its senses and its rightful place, under the outstretched and protective wings of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the ONE, TRUE GOD of this vast universe! Please let’s wake up and smell the roses, or rather the pungent scent of the destruction that’s underway. LOVE is the ONLY WAY TO VICTORY! And as Bruh Paul so wisely told the Thessalonians: ‘But as touching (concerning) brotherly LOVE ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to LOVE one another. And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more.’ (1 Thess.4:9-10) Yes mih people, to change our world, our LOVE Walk has to be ramped up much higher than it currently is. We won’t win any battles, much less wars with the puny attempts at LOVE we’re currently making. If we’re truly to be considered Friends and Followers of Jesus, then there’s only one way to win this ongoing war. As Jesus declared so long ago in our Bit: ‘Thou shalt LOVE the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind…And Thou shalt LOVE thy neighbour as thyself.’ Yes people, that’s the winning formula! And since LOVE is an action word, please, let’s put it into serious action nuh. For our children’s sake, let’s do it nuh. Much LOVE!…simply talking LOVE…and not actively walking it…does not any battle win…

Job 11:6b.    Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth. 
Oh Friends, it’s Friday! And all the party people whispered a tired ‘Thank God.’ Yes Friends, the enthusiasm is lost because they’re still tired from all the revelry that ended late Tuesday night, then having to go to work on Ash Wednesday. So now they’re just dying for Friday to come so they can rest their weary bones and spirits. But whatever our state my people, the weekend has its duties, so let’s chant our Friday Chant that will enable us to gain the right perspective . All together now, in whatever voice you can manage (smile): ‘Oh Lord, thanks for getting me safely through another week of work! It hasn’t been easy, but with your generous help, I made it through. Now, please help me to get sufficient fun, fellowship, rest and relaxation in these two short days off, so that I can be renewed and refreshed in soul, body and mind, to go back out and do it all over again next week, furthering your glorious kingdom with each step I take. I pray this in Jesus name. Amen.’ Ah mih people, it’s a rough life, but if it’s lived with and for Jesus, and we keep our hearts focused steadfastly on Him, we will make it safely through the storms of this evil, ungodly world. For one thing, as spoken by Job’s supposed friend, Zophar, our Bit very rightly declares: ‘Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth (He forgets some of your iniquity).’ And that my brethren is the gospel, gospel truth! Because if the Most High God Jehovah ever decided to give us our just and full desserts, none would survive, we’d all be cast into the pit of eternal fire. Jeremiah so kindly reminds us: ‘This I recall to mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.’ (Lam.3:21-23) Yes Friends, it’s only because our God is such a forgiving and LOVING Deity that we are able to avoid the hell fires of the damned. And though most of us claim to known that, yet we still let Lucifer rum amok in our lives, we still don’t pay proper obeisance to our Creator, Provider and Protector. What does that say about us eh? Nothing very worthwhile. The thing I find amazing though is that we have the benefit of the Good Book with all the stuff that went on in the past, all of God’s dictates, His punishments and rewards, yet for some unfathomable reason, we ignore them, foolishly thinking that what happened to the other nations and societies who disobeyed God, won’t happen to us. Oh Friends, that’s a grave fallacy! That’s Lucifer curdling our hearts and minds with lies and wicked innuendoes, for the Lord nor His Word ever changes. And Lucifer knows this quite well, but he’s simply playing on our inherently lustful and sinful nature. My people, please hear and fully believe that whatever our God says in His Word, will come to pass in the fullness of time. And though He is a very merciful, forgiving and LOVING God, if we continue in our sinful disobedience, at some stage He’s going to get fed up and unleash real punishment. Hear these words of the prophet Ezra, when he confessed Israel’s sins before the Lord: ‘And after all that is come upon us for our evil deeds, and for our great trespass (guilt), seeing thou our God hast punished us less than our iniquities deserve, and hast given us such deliverance as this; Should we again break thy commandments, and join in affinity (marriage) with the people of these abominations? wouldest not thou be angry with us till thou hadst consumed (destroyed) us, so that there should be no remnant nor escaping? O Lord God of Israel, thou art righteous: for we remain yet escaped , as it is this day: behold, we are before thee in our trespasses: for we cannot stand before thee because of this.’ (Ezra 9:13-15) Those are words of righteous truth Friends! We definitely can’t stand before our God in the hideous wicked state that we’re currently in! And I think we’re pushing the envelope some, for we’re being punished somewhat right now for our misdeeds by the troubled, confused, uncontrollable state of our world. But even so my brethren, the Lord in His LOVING kindness has not given us our just desserts, otherwise our world would be dust and ashes now. Listen to these enlightening words of Bruh David from Psalm 103, Thanksgiving for God’s mercy: ‘The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous (abounding) in mercy (LOVING kindness). He will not always chide (strive): neither will he keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy (LOVING kindness) toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.’ (Ps.103:8-12)  Oh Friends, the Lord’s still being kind and merciful to us, but we definitely can’t continue wallowing in evil and ungodliness for much longer, or He’s going to pull the plug on us. Please, let’s wake up, especially we believers, and get out there and diligently try to change our world if we want it to last for at least one more generation, because at the rate we’re spiralling into ungodliness and evil, I doubt the Lord’s patience will last that long. Oh my people, only a LOVE Revolution, sooner rather than later can save our world. Much LOVE!…to him that hath ears…let him hear…or else…he will certainly feel.
